Personal Safety Training

Personal Safety Talks are a great way to introduce and raise awareness of the subject of workplace violence. They are especially popular with organisations wishing to increase awareness and disseminate information to large groups quickly. Previous clients have also found them a good way to launch into more in-depth personal safety training programmes.
Personal Safety Training is imperative for any organisation wishing to reduce workplace violence. Our courses and talks are valuable for staff who may from time to time work with members of the public (e.g. interviewing, home visits, travel, outreach work, lone working). This course can also be combined with our Managing Aggressive Behaviour Course.

Workplace Bullying

Research has shown that workplace bullying and harassment costs UK organisations around £2bn per year. 19 million days are lost because of abuse that results in accidents and mistakes, increasing sick leave, lost productivity and higher recruitment costs.
Workplace Bullying and Harassment awareness training is effective in helping promote positive behaviours at work and reducing the chance of litigation. The NNTC provides training for staff and managers, and we also produced a highly praised training resource for those organisations wishing to run these courses themselves.
The aim of these courses is to help identify workplace bullying behaviour and those organisational elements that allow it to flourish and to take a proactive approach to tackling these issues before they arise. Additionally the courses consider the organisational responses that are required to eliminate workplace bullying and harassment and provide the person being bullied a guide for managing it
